The Minnesota Twins signed up for two more years with the Rochester Red Wings as their Triple-A affiliate Wednesday afternoon at Frontier Field.
The contract extends the current agreement between the Twins and Red Wings two years through the 2020 season. The current contract would have ended at the end of this year.
The Twins have been the parent club of the Red Wings since 2003. Twins Executive Vice President and Chief Baseball Officer Derek Falvey said the organization has been fortunate to have the Red Wings as a partner for so long.
