First responders were called to a two-car accident at the intersection of County Roads 4 and 20 in the Town of Seneca on Wednesday around 3:22 pm.
Deputies responded with the Seneca Castle Fire Department and Finger Lakes Ambulance for the two-car accident, which had reported injuries when the call came in to 911.
Deputies say Jason Hill, 36, of Rochester was traveling north on County Road 4 and had stopped at a stop sign when he proceeded through – failing to yield the right of way.
He pulled into the path of a van, operated by Alissa R. King, 29, of Farmington, who was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Deputies say she was transported to F.F. Thompson Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Deputies say there were four young children inside the vehicle with her, who were properly restrained inside child car seats, and were uninjured in the accident.
Hill was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way.
