Ontario County is considering a new age limit on tobacco sales.
A proposal before the county’s Board of Supervisors calls for a ban of tobacco for people under 21.
A public hearing on the issue is set for Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. at The Ontario County Safety Training Facility in Hopewell.
A similar proposed law failed in Monroe County in June.
