Police are investigating a stabbing that happened in Newark during the early-morning hours on Sunday, according to the Newark Police Department.
The stabbing happened on Siegreist Street around 3:30 am following an altercation between two individuals.
They say Ryan Daniel, 30, of Sodus had been stabbed in the lower back. He was driven to Newark Wayne Community Hospital and stabilized.
Police say he was then airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
