Generations Bank announces the promotion of Derek Dyson to Vice President – Support Service Officer from Assistant Vice President – Support Service Officer.
Dyson joined the organization six years ago as an intern and moved quickly through the ranks. Dyson has been instrumental in the development of new technologies at Generations Bank, including mobile banking, remote deposit capture, online deposit account opening and three building remodels.

Before coming to Generations Bank, Dyson attended the University of Albany and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Financial Market Regulation with a double concentration in Informatics and Economics.

Dyson was born and raised in Seneca Falls and is passionate about helping his local community. Currently, Dyson serves as the Secretary for the United Way of Seneca County, as well as, a Board Member of the Seneca Falls Library.
