It was a busy night for the Seneca County Board of Supervisors who held monthly committee meetings, along with a special board meeting.
Among the topics of debate was the resignation of Finance Director Brandi Deeds, and the future of the Emergency Management Director. That position was vacated earlier this month by former director Melissa Taylor, who wrote a letter to the Board of Supervisors requesting she be reinstated under the board’s supervision.
While a resolution was briefly introduced to accomplish part of that under new business during the Public Safety Committee meeting; it was ruled ‘out of order’ by Waterloo Supervisor and Board of Supervisors Chairman Bob Shipley, who requested that the resolution be placed under another committee assignment.
