An active police investigation is underway after a man pointed a firearm at an officer at a traffic stop in Geneseo before fleeing on foot.
NYS Police along with the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office are searching for the man on Route 63 and Dewey Hill where the subject was stopped.
He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, grey baseball cap and blue jeans and is considered armed and dangerous.
Livingston County Sheriff Dougherty tweeted out a picture and description of the suspect.
This is our suspect. He is armed and dangerous. He was last scene on foot at Route 63 south of Route 20a in the Town of Geneseo. He is described as appx 5’9 and appx 200lbs.
