Generations Bank announces the hiring of Matthew Deknatel as Assistant Vice President – Business Development Officer in the Farmington and Rochester areas.
Deknatel brings over 12 years of management and loan origination experience in the financial industry in various roles, including Loan Officer and Branch Manager.
Deknatel holds a master’s degree in strategic leadership from Roberts Wesleyan College.
Matt grew up in Washington DC and has lived in Rochester for nearly 20 years. Matt lives in Rochester with his wife, Niki and his two-year-old twin children. Deknatel has been on two mission trips to Haiti to help build an orphanage. He is a musician and has played guitar for 25 years and helped write and record four albums.
