On July 9th at about 10:15 am investigators arrested a 30-year-old Clyde woman following a welfare fraud investigation.
Ashley R. Calkins, 30, was charged with Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree, Welfare Fraud in the Fifth Degree, and Misuse of Food Stamps.
It is alleged that Calkins failed to disclose household income while receiving monetary benefits from Seneca County.
She was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Waterloo Village Court on August 15th, 2018 at 5 pm.
