Syracuse sophomore Dolezaj now listed at 6’10”

The updates heights and weights of Syracuse Orange basketball’s rostered players were released by men’s basketball strength and conditioning coach Ryan Cabiles. One thing stood out on the new roster, sophomore Marek Dolezaj is now listed at 6 feet 10 inches tall. He was previously listed at 6’9” on the Cuse.com website.

The Bratislava, Solvakia native had a successful freshman campaign for the Orange that included the following highlights:

Made his first career start at PITTSBURGH … Recorded a season high in assists (7) against TEXAS SOUTHERN … Grabbed eight rebounds to go along with season-bests three blocks and two steals against OAKLAND … Scored 10 points against MARYLAND. Also pulled down seven rebounds against the Terrapins … Led all competitors and posted a season-high three steals versus COLGATE … Scored nine points, grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds and tied his season-best with three blocks against ST. BONAVENTURE … Dolezaj was named to the Fall 2017 Athletic Director’s Honor Roll … Dolezaj was 4-for-4 from the field and 4-for-4 from the free throw line for a career-high 12 points against BOSTON COLLEGE … He tied his season-high with seven defensive rebounds at GEORGIA TECH … Dolezaj was 4-for-5 from the field and 3-for-4 from the free throw line for 11 points at MIAMI … Recorded career-highs in total points (20) and free throws made (8) in the ACC Tournament game against WAKE FOREST … Contributed 17 points and four rebounds in the NCAA Tournament win over TCU … Posted six rebounds against MICHIGAN STATE.
