Authorities say three people were injured and hospitalized after an accident involving a tractor-trailer and two passenger vehicles.
While exact details of the incident remain unclear, multiple crews from Seneca and Ontario counties assisted through response or standby efforts. Hazmat crews were even called to the scene, but the contents of the truck were not officially released.
The accident happened on State Route 5&20 in the Town of Waterloo, within Border City’s fire district. It resulted in the roadway being shut down for several hours at Packwood Road.
Traffic was diverted for hours as crews cleaned up the scene.
The extent of the injuries, or current status of those hospitalized was also not released.
