Shortsville man fought with officers, resisted arrest in Seneca Falls

On Friday at approximately 6:10 am police arrested a Shortsville resident following a physical domestic incident in Seneca Falls.

Joshua D. Crisp, 22, of Shortsville was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, and harassment.

Police say the physical domestic incident involved a female resident. He damaged multiple items at the scene and was seen by police running from the address when they arrived.

He failed to comply with lawful orders – attempting to flee and fight officers who were taking him into custody.

Crisp was arraigned in Tyre Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond.

The charges will be answered at a later date, and a protective order was issued on behalf of the victim.
