Sheriff’s Deputies investigated a personal injury motor vehicle accident on Route 414 in the Town of Varick that occurred on Tuesday morning at about 7:20 am.
Deputies report a pick-up truck operated by Steven L. Everts, age 59 of 5176 Route 89 in Romulus, was southbound and stopprd at the intersection of Route 414 and Ogden Road to make a left turn. Everts’ vehicle was then rear-ended by a pick-up truck being operated by Timothy D. Caves, age 33 of 3151 Brand Road in Clyde.
Everts sustained a back injury and was transported by North Seneca Ambulance to Geneva General Hospital for his injury.
Caves was issued a ticket for following too close, and is to appear in the Town Of Varick Court at a later date.Deputies were assisted by Fayette Fire Department.
