Two Skaneateles Central School District business officials will be taking on new titles with more pay and more responsibilities heading into the new academic year.
Christine DeMass and Dan Silky were approved as the assistant superintendent for business operations and the director of auxiliary services, respectively, at a board of education meeting Tuesday. They will start in their new positions on July 1.
DeMass had been the district business administrator since being appointed June 2017 after Joe Butler left and became the capital project administrator to oversee the district’s various projects. DeMass had previously worked at the Bank of New York Mellon before starting with the district in November 2015.
