Lansing McDonald’s robbed by two people displaying handguns, police say

Tompkins County deputies say two people displaying handguns robbed the McDonald’s in Lansing.

The robbery occurred at around 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, authorities said. Both subjects demanded money from employees at the McDonald’s located at 2350 North Triphammer Road.

The two subjects exited the restaurant with an unknown amount of cash and fled the area in an unknown direction, deputies said. No employees were injured during the incident.

The investigation into the incident by the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office is ongoing, deputies said. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call 272-2444.
