Seneca County Sheriff Tim Luce reports a steady month in his May service report, which was released on Monday. Highlighting the month was an off-duty deputy saving the life of at least one individual, who was drowning in Seneca Lake. There were three individuals involved with that incident. They all made a full-recovery.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MONTH:
May 10th, 2018: Deputies responded to a Domestic Violence Incident in the Town of Tyre and discovered a Marijuana Grow Operation set up in a child’s bedroom. Arrests were made.
May 15th, 2018: NARCO arrested a suspect for trafficking crack cocaine in the Town of Waterloo.
May 18th 2018: Deputies responded to a Domestic Violence Incident in the Town of Tyre. A male suspect had kicked a car seat over with an infant in it. He was apprehended without incident.
May 19th 2018: A boat accident on Seneca Lake resulted in three people in 48 degree water. An off-duty Deputy saved one subject’s life with CPR. With the help of civilians all three subjects were saved.
May 21st, 2018: Investigations solved a Grand Larceny of trees in the Town of Fayette.
May 26th, 2018: A subject failed to stop for a traffic stop and crashed on Marshall Road in the Town of Fayette. The driver was killed in the crash. Alcohol is alleged to be a factor.
May 29th 2018: Deputies responded to a Domestic Violence Incident in the Town of Romulus. A female had been beaten, bitten and restrained. The suspect was apprehended without incident.
May 2018: Investigators arrested 2 subjects for Welfare Fraud.
