Watkins Glen International racetrack building new terrace

Coming in August, Watkins Glen will be adding a new location to take in the action.

Starting with this year’s Go Bowling at the Glen from Aug. 2 to Aug. 5, Watkins Glen International will reveal the Turn 10 Terrance to provide an elevated, partially covered view of the racetrack with multiple seating areas and a view of the jumbotron.

The soon-to-be-constructed terrace will be directly next to the Sir Jackie Stewart Grandstand.

“We are so excited for the debut of the new Turn 10 Terrace,” Watkins Glen International President Michael Printup said in a press release. “That area of the racetrack has seen quite a bit of action over the years, with last-lap passes for the win and door-to-door battling all race long. It’s going to be a great place to take in the atmosphere of a race at The Glen.”
