Rochester duo stole from multiple stores in Seneca County

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports on Saturday deputies arrested a Rochester pair after a reported larceny at a Junius business.

Phontasia A. Jackson, 20, and Keonda L. Brooks, 21, both of Rochester were charged with criminal possession of stolen property after stealing property from three separate businesses in Junius.

Brooks was also charged with possession of burglar’s tools for having a tinfoil lined bag used to circumvent security tags.

Jackson was also charged with criminal impersonation for pretending to be another party to avoid having active warrants spotted on her person.



Both were arraigned in the Town of Tyre Court and remanded to the Seneca County Jail.

Brooks was committed on $1,000 cash and $2,000 secured bond and Jackson was committed on $1,500 cash and $3,000 secured bond.

Both will reappear in the Town of Junius Court on June 21st at 7 pm.
