When the city launched a pilot program in 2015 to bring so-called parklets to Geneva in 2015, they were met with resistance by some downtown business owners who believed the structures were taking up valuable parking spaces.
Those concerns from four years ago apparently have faded, possibly because only one merchant took part in the program in 2017, Lake Drum Brewing on Castle Street.
