The Arc of Seneca Cayuga and the Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce will sponsor “Art in Public Places,” an exhibit of original digital works by artists with developmental disabilities. The exhibit will open from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 6, at the Arc’s Spot Light Studio, 39 Genesee St., Auburn.
The exhibit will then be divided for showings in the lobbies of Chemung Canal Trust Company, Empower Federal Credit Union, Key Bank, Lyons National Bank and Tompkins Trust Company. It will then be on display at Seymour Library, 176-178 Genesee St., Auburn, from July 23 through July 28.
“Arc is so pleased to be working with the Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce, area financial institutions and the Seymour Library to bring about this wonderful event, which underscores our commitment to promoting inclusiveness and celebrating everyone’s unique talents,” Arc Executive Director Allen Connely said in a news release.
