On Thursday multiple agencies in Ontario County executed a search warrant on four properties resulting in the arrest of two individuals after more than 600 marijuana plants were seized.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Canandaigua and Geneva police departments, as well as Wayne and Monroe County sheriff’s offices executed a search warrant for four properties, which included 6118 State Route 15A in Canadice; 5841 Muckland Avenue in Butler; 267 Gallup Road in Sweden; and 137 Tennyson Way in Mnedon.
The search, which included properties in three counties turned up more than 600 marijuana plants in various stages of growth, according to investigators. Approximately 9.5 lbs. of cultivated, dried marijuana were seized, too.
The search warrant was the result of an extensive investigation conducted by members of the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office and Canandaigua Police Department. Deputies say ongoing criminal conduct between the four properties resulted in the investigation.
As result, Patrick R. Gallo, 40, of Pittsford, and Eric W. Shults, 45, of Spencerport were charged with enterprise corruption. Both were arraigned and are being held on $5,000 and $10,000 cash bail respectively.
