Greater Rochester Enterprise has helped arrange site visits for new businesses interested in Seneca County. It has aided three local companies with strategic research.

Company official Matt Hurlbutt will speak about Greater Rochester Enterprise’s organization and its relationship to Seneca County at Thursday’s county Industrial Development Agency meeting.

The county has contributed $5,000 annually to Greater Rochester Enterprise, and is expected to be asked for another contribution.

The Enterprise is a nonprofit, economic development organization supported by private and public sector leaders dedicated to improving the economic performance of the Greater Rochester region. It collaborates with local businesses, universities, other nonprofits and government leaders to support entrepreneurship, innovation, and business attraction and expansion in the nine-county region.
