An Auburn man who recently admitted raping a 15-year-old girl has pleaded guilty to another crime in Cayuga County.

On Tuesday morning, 43-year-old Paul Oattes addressed his second set of charges in Cayuga County Court. Oattes was first charged with three counts of third-degree rape and one count of first-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child for having sex with an underage girl in August 2016. Months later, he was charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree robbery and fourth-degree conspiracy for helping a man rob a house in Montezuma that October.

Earlier this year, Oattes pleaded guilty to third-degree rape, a class E felony, and on Tuesday, he answered for his other crime.

Oattes pleaded guilty to one count of fourth-degree conspiracy, another class E felony. During his plea, he said he planned a home invasion with a man named Christopher Kilcoyne.
