Deputies arrived to find 65-year-old Gerald Saunders, of Seneca Castle – deceased at the scene, and three people trapped inside a sedan. Deputies say Saunders was the operator of a motorcycle, which collided with the sedan in the intersection – resulting in him being ejected from the bike.

The intersection resulted in the intersection being closed to traffic for approximately 2.5 hours. The investigation is ongoing at this time, according to deputies, who say that the District Attorney’s Office, Sheriff’s Office, and Coroner’s Office are involved.
No charges have been filed at this time.
Deputies said on Tuesday that the accident happened when the sedan failed to stop at the intersection for a stop sign. The motorcyclist then struck the sedan, resulting in the described accident.
Deputies also noted that Shreyans Jain, 25, of Kearny, New Jersey was the operator of the vehicle – while Kamlesh and Usha Jain – both of India were passengers in the vehicle.
