Canandaigua’s Adam Scott drafted by Cleveland Indians

Canandaigua native Adam Scott became one of the newest members of the Cleveland Indians organization Tuesday after Scott was drafted in the fourth round by the Indians.

Scott was taken 133rd overall out of Wofford College as a left-handed pitcher. He is listed as a left-handed specialist and projects as a middle reliever.

The senior, listed at 6-foot-4, 220 pounds, had the best season of his college career this year, leading the Wofford pitching staff with an 8-5 record and 3.14 ERA. He also set a career-high with 137 strikeouts and career-low 18 walks.
