It’s quite possible that Victor has had tougher practices this season than the state Class B boys’ lacrosse quarterfinal game it won Saturday afternoon at All High Stadium.
The Blue Devils overwhelmed a completely overmatched Hamburg team 15-3 and advanced to the semifinals at Cicero-North Syracuse High School, which will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
“Any team that gets out of their section, I would picture them being a good team, so we thought it would be a closer game,” said senior midfielder Connor Keenan. “We brought the energy and we got out quick on them.”
