The Midlakes Screaming Eagles put together their first championship season in more than three decades, but were unable to keep the good times going Saturday.
Royalton-Hartland bumped Midlakes out of the regional round of the Class B state tournament, topping the Screaming Eagles 10-1 at Frontier Field.
The Royalton-Hartland Rams jump into the state semifinal round June 8 at Maine-Endwell High in the Binghamton region, where the Section VI champion faces Binghamton’s Seton Catholic.
