Syracuse football coach Dino Babers received $2.4 million in compensation during his first year leading the football program, according to the university’s most recent federal tax filing.
That’s an increase of nearly $1 million from his predecessor, Scott Shafer and would rank Babers 49th on USA Today’s list of head football coaching salaries that was published last year.
