Ryan Fishback will represent Geneva in the state championship tennis finals. The high school sophomore will compete on the hard court in the NYSPHSAA Tennis State Championship title match at 8 a.m. Saturday.
On Friday at the USTA Billie Jean King Tennis Center in Flushing, Fishback won quarterfinal and semifinal matches. Fishback won 6-1, 6-1 in his quarterfinal appearance over Ryo Sakai from Kelo of Section 1, and won 6-4, 6-3 over Liam Krall of Bronxville of Section 1..
