Generations Bank and Women’s Right to Run 19K, Inc. present donation to Girl Scout Troop #40963

Together, Generations Bank and Women’s Right to Run 19K, Inc. present $100 donation to the Girl Scout Troop #40963. This year, runners voted on their favorite, most memorable water station. Volunteer groups, through their own creativity and spirit competed for $100.00 donation to the charity of their choice that supports women in the Finger Lakes Region.

“Congratulations to Girl Scout Troop #40963 on winning the 3rd Annual Right to Run Water Stop Contest”, said Race Director Heather Zellers. Runners voted the troop their favorite, most memorable stop. “Thank you for your support and spirit. Maybe next year the runners will get water, electrolytes and some thin mints!”

Generations Bank CFO and Women’s Right to Run Board Member Shelley Tafel said, “It was my joy and privilege to present the girl scouts with the prize money for the water stop with the most spirit. The girls were so excited at the check presentation that it was easy to see why the runners voted their stop the best!” They are looking forward to using the prize money towards camp.
