Tournament MVP Emily Phelan struck out 16 batters to lead top-seeded Bishop Kearney to a 6-2 win over No. 3 seed Mynderse in the Section V Class B softball final at Canandaigua on Wednesday evening. The defending Class C state champs did most of their damage in the 2nd inning scoring 5 runs.
