Members of CMGA at the Corning Museum of Glass will be making bears and blankets for Disaster Services of the Finger Lakes Chapter of the American Red Cross. The group is comprised of 112 women from the United States, China, South Korea and France.
The activity and presentation is scheduled for today (May 31st) in the museum’s auditorium beginning at 4PM Media are invited to attend for photos/video. Finger Lakes Chapter Executive Director Brian McConnel will be available for interviews.
McConnell will address the group with a brief overview of the Red Cross mission both locally and globally. CMGA will then begin making the bears and blankets, and the event will conclude with the presentation of items.
