Seneca Falls man kicked child’s car seat; 11-month-old uninjured during incident

Seneca County Sheriff Tim Luce reports the arrest of a Seneca Falls man following a domestic incident involving an 11-month-old child.

Luce says that Christopher J. Freeman, 31, of Seneca Falls was charged with endangering the welfare of a child after he was allegedly involved in a domestic incident with a young child.

He further reports that the child was 11-months-old.

During the investigation it was determined that Freeman removed the child from inside a vehicle in which the child was still restrained in a car seat, set the car seat down on the ground and kicked the car seat causing it to flip over.

While the child was uninjured — Freeman was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 secured bond.

Orders of protection were issued on behalf of the female involved, as well as the child.

He will re-appear on June 19th to answer the charge.
