On Friday at approximately 11:02 a.m. deputies responded to a crash along with first responders from Cheshire Fire Department and Canandaigua Ambulance on Route 5 at Middle Cheshire Road.
It was determined that Laurie Freyland, 43, of Canandaigua was traveling east on Route 5 when she failed to stop for a red light at Middle Cheshire Road.
Her vehicle struck another, and then both of those vehicles hit a third vehicle. Freyland suffered a fractured wrist and was sent to Strong Hospital for treatment.
She was ticketed for passing a red light and will answer the charge at a later date.
All other parties were sent to Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua for treatment of other injuries.
