A 17-year-old Victor resident was arrested for driving while on drugs, according to deputies — after a traffic stop for speeding this week.
Christopher D. Collier, 17, was stopped for speeding on State Route 96 in the Town of Victor. Deputies say that during the stop — he was observed possessing a controlled substance.
It was further determined that Collier was under the influence of drugs while operating the vehicle.
He was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and driving while ability impaired by drugs.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
