A 35-year-old Rushville man was arrested following the violation of an order of protection issued in Ontario County Court.
Investigators say Christopher Schoepfel, 35, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt after violating that order of protection — by grabbing and shoving the protected party into a wall several times while they were at a residence last weekend.
The incident unfolded in Canandaigua, according to investigators.
He was arraigned and remanded to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 secured bond.
