Police: Seneca Falls man violates order of protection

Police say a Seneca Falls man was arrested on multiple charges after a physical altercation with a female victim who had an order of protection against him.

Christopher J. Marvin, 30, of Seneca Falls was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal contempt, and second-degree harassment.

He is accused of engaging in a verbal argument with a female victim, which he shoved and prevented from calling 911. Marvin had an order of protection in place, which prevented him from having legal contact with the female.

He was arraigned in Tyre Town Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 secured bond.

A stay away order of protection was issued.
