Yankees’ Drury reinstated from DL, sent to Triple-A

What Yankees manager Aaron Boone keeps referring to as a “good problem” is slowly coming to the surface.

The Yanks returned infielder Brandon Drury from his rehab assignment, reinstated him from the 10-day disabled list and optioned him to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Monday. In addition, the rehab assignments for first baseman Greg Bird and outfielder Billy McKinney were transferred to Double-A Trenton.

Drury, on the DL since April 7 due to blurred vision and migraines, completed his 20-day Minor League rehab assignment over the weekend. The 25-year-old hit .315/.433/.481 in 17 games for Double-A Trenton and Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
