On May 11th 9:40 a.m., the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a Seneca Falls man following an investigation into a dog left outside.
Kevin R. Compson, 29 of Seneca Falls, was charged with Overdriving, Torturing and Injuring Animals, following an investigation into a dog left outside with no food or water.
Compson’s dog was seized by Beverly’s Animal Shelter and forwarded to Eastview Veterinary in Penn Yan for treatment of malnourishment, dehydration and starvation.
The dog is currently recovering at Beverly’s Animal Shelter and is slowly progressing back to good health.
He was also charged with unlicensed dog and no shelter by the Animal Control Officer.
Compson was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in Seneca Falls Town of on May 21st, 2018 at 5:30 PM to answer the charges.
