Deputies report the arrest of a Lyons man after a warrant was issued in Lyons Town Court.
Dameion W. Metzger, 43, of Lyons was charged with third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief. The charges stem from a domestic incident where Metzger struck a female victim and ripped a sweatshirt she was wearing.
The entire incident unfolded at an earlier date and time, according to authorities.
He was committed to the Wayne County Jail on $500 cash bail or $1,000 secured bond. An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim, as well.
The charges will be answered in Lyons Town Court.
