Deputies say that on Monday around 12:35 a.m. a 29-year-old Farmington man was arrested after getting off the New York State Thruway at Exit 44.
Michael J. Feathers, 29, of Farmington was charged with driving while intoxicated. His BAC was reportedly more than five times the legal limit.
Prior to being stopped by deputies, the vehicle being operated by Feathers struck a guide rail — and had significant damage to the passenger side. Deputies say the vehicle had visibly involved in an accident.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
