At 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 19th, 2018, in People’s Park in Seneca Falls a tree will be dedicated in memory of Philomena M. Cammuso. The actual site is just south of the bandstand in People’s Park. The public is cordially invited to attend.
The tree is a living memorial to Ms. Cammuso who was President of Convention Days, Inc. for many years. The tree is a special variety of flowering crabapple, chosen for its suitability for the soil as well as its long-life. In addition to the tree there will be a plaque placed in the ground.
At the brief ceremony, special remarks will be made by representatives of the family and Convention Days, Inc. Others attending also will be welcomed to share their memories of Ms. Cammuso.
