Warm spring weather brings dreams of bright flower gardens and tasty fresh vegetables harvested from your garden.
Now is the time to buy your plants and help Waterloo Rotary’s community projects. The annual Waterloo Rotary Plant Sale will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, May 19 and 20 at Cottrell’s Farm Market, Route 96, west of the village.
Six greenhouses are bursting with geraniums, hanging baskets, vegetable plants, herbs, annuals and perennials. Rotarians and Interact members will be on hand to help you find your favorite plants and then to take them to your car.
All proceeds benefit Waterloo Rotary’s community projects such as scholarships, youth programs, Trevor’s’ Gift and Camp Onseyawa. Waterloo Rotary meets every Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Quality Inn. New members are always welcome.
