del Lago Resort & Casino adds new shows to summer lineup at The Vine

Del Lago Resort & Casino is pleased to announce four shows have been added to its summer lineup at The Vine. Incubus will perform August 10th, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo will perform with Rick Springfield July 27th, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real will take the stage July 20th and Mini KISS will perform June 21st. Tickets to Mini KISS go on sale at noon Wednesday, May 9. Tickets to Incubus, Benatar, Giraldo and Springfield and Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real go on sale at noon Friday, May 11th. Since their formation in 1991, iconic multiplatinum Los Angeles rock band Incubus has consciously and continually shifted their perspective with each subsequent album, preserving the spirit that initially drove them and challenged them as artists. Best known for their top hits “Pardon Me,” “Wish You Were Here,” “Drive,” “Warning,” and “Megalomaniac,” their latest and eighth full-length album is aptly titled “8.”  The album is a significant milestone for Incubus as it was released exactly 20 years after their major label debut S.C.I.E.N.C.E. landed, back in 1997.

Pat Benatar and Neil “Spyder” Giraldo will play at The Vine for the second time; the duo played to a sold-out crowd in July 2017. Four-time Grammy winners, Benatar and Giraldo have been musical partners for 37 years and married for 35 years. Benatar’s staggering vocal range and Giraldo’s trailblazing artistry as a guitarist, producer, songwriter and arranger together forge the undeniable chemistry and unprecedented sound that created some of rock’s most memorable hits, including “Love Is a Battlefield,” “Heartbreaker,” “We Live for Love,” “We Belong” and the signature “Promises in the Dark.” Together, they have sold over 30 million albums worldwide and won an unprecedented four consecutive Grammy awards. Their rock-and-roll love affair has endured for more than three and a half decades. Benatar and Giraldo continue to tour, selling out concerts and wowing audiences everywhere.

Over the past four decades, Rick Springfield has worn many hats as an entertainer and performer. The creator of some of the finest power-pop of the ’80s, he’s a Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician who has sold 25 million albums and scored 17 U.S. Top 40 hits, including “Jessie’s Girl,” “Don’t Talk to Strangers,” “An Affair of the Heart,” “I’ve Done Everything for You,” “Love Somebody” and “Human Touch.” In January 2018, Springfield released his first blues-oriented album, “The Snake King.”

Since forming 10 years ago, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real have played hundreds of shows and major festivals all over the world. Nelson’s profile began to rise when he contributed three songs and heavenly vocals to his dad, Willie Nelson’s, 2012 album, “Heroes.” Just two years later, Neil Young decided to make Promise of the Real his touring and studio band. Young has guided the grateful young musicians ever since as they’ve backed the legend on tour around the world and on his two most recent albums.  Later this year, Nelson will be a part of the classic remake of “A Star is Born,” starring Bradley Cooper as director and actor alongside Lady Gaga.

In 1996, the Fatale brothers, creators of Mini KISS, the “hottest littlest band in the world,” came together in NYC — the same city where the famed Gene Simmons KISS band was born. The little-people KISS tribute band is a high-energy touring rock show playing KISS and other popular ’80’s rock hits with the band dressed in head-to-toe KISS costumes. The performance will have guests on their feet dancing all night long.
