On May 4th at approximately 7:10 p.m. officers of the Canandaigua Police Department arrested a 55-year-old following a sex abuse investigation.
William R. Palmer of Canandaigua was charged with forcible touching and second-degree sex abuse.
It is alleged that on May 2nd while on South Main Street, Palmer inappropriately touched a 13-year-old child.
Palmer was subsequently taken to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.
