State Police say a Seneca Falls man was killed on Monday cutting down a tree.
Troopers say 57-year-old Robert Manley, of Seneca Falls, was killed when the tree he was cutting down split lengthwise and fell on him.
The incident happened around 4 p.m.
According to Troopers, Manley died on-scene; and an investigation is active.
