This winter has been absolutely brutal, but for skiers and snowboarders it is a delight. Especially since for the first time ever, Bristol Mountain is open on May 1st.
Steve Fuller the Vice President at Bristol had this to say.
“This is the latest we have ever been open on record, so for the 55 years we have been operating today is our latest day we have ever been open.”
Plus today marked the 128th day they were open this season not quite a record but still long enough for seven months of skiing from November to May. In fact Bristol was the first resort to open up in New York State this ski season.
