Tyus Battle receives NBA Draft combine invite; what’s next for Syracuse guard?

Tyus Battle will be among the 60-70 players participating in the NBA Draft Combine, held this year from May 16-20 in Chicago.

Gary Battle confirmed his son’s invitation. Tyus was home in New Jersey last weekend to work out in preparation for the draft and will be back in Syracuse this week to finish up his school work.

The Combine invitations were sent out late last week. More than 230 young men submitted their names for early entry into the June 2018 Draft. That number includes international players. A fraction of those receive combine invites, which have yet to be made public.
