A Penn Yan woman was arrested on five counts of grand larceny after an investigation into stolen credit cards.
Police say 35-year-old Kerry L. Brown, of Penn Yan was charged with five counts of fourth-degree grand larceny. She is accused of stealing five credit cards from an unidentified victim, which resulted in the felony charges.
She was arraigned in Penn Yan Village Court on the felony charges and remanded to the Yates County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 secured bond.
Police did not note whether the credit cards were illegally used after the initial theft.
