Woman arrested at Five Points after trying to smuggle drugs into facility

State Police say a 24-year-old Rochester woman was arrested at Five Points State Correctional Facility in Romulus after attempting to enter with prison contraband.

Ceptimber M. Wallace, 24, was charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and possession of synthetic marijauna.

Wallace was found to be possessing Xanax, methylendioxymethamphetamine, and synthetic marijuana after entering the prison for an ‘intimate’ visit. Methylendioxymethamphetamine is also known as ‘MDMA’ or ‘Ecstasy’.

She was arraigned in Waterloo Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 secured bond.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
